canvas art for christmas

i used to give excuses on having to create something. the most common excuse being the fact that i got no space to spread out my art supplies and it is such a hassle to pack them daily just to get something done. but this year when i am impressed to do something for the mk teachers, i found that i have no excuse at all. it felt like it was now or never. so despite starting late and having late nights, i laboured on. :) the efforts were worth it and most satisfying.

the most amazing part to me was having a word for each and everyone of them that i felt can be sown and take root and explode into a harvest. the other amazing part - having them tell me how awesome it is and how loved they felt to have a personalise gift from me. well, i can't claim i am good cos i am still exploring and playing. all i know is i enjoyed it very much. the rewards are endless. :)

i am very inspired by this now. i do not have a polariod camera but i figured i might attempt to just paste the photos on white card stock in the exact dimensions as a polariod film :)

this is why i love polaroid and the pictures it takes. i love the effect and the final product of a polaroid shots and the antiquey feel that it produces. so, this news is definitely a blessing and something to look forward to. looks like there is hope and good stuff is worth the wait. i do own a polaroid one step. but i have no idea if it works. it looks pretty on the shelf though and that's what matters for now :D
